Having lived in three different countries and multiple cities, I have found Maryport to be one of the friendliest places I have come across.
My Story
In my professional life I work in the public sector as a Project Manager and an Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity practitioner in higher education and healthcare.
My husband grew up in Cumbria and we have been visiting Maryport and surrounding areas for over 20 years. Having lived in three different countries and multiple cities, I have found Maryport to be one of the friendliest places I have come across.
I have chosen to be a Trustee at the Castle Hill Trust because exciting things are happening in Maryport and The Settlement is a fantastic venue with great potential to be part of the exciting new journey. I hope to offer my project management skills and passion for developing networks and supporting communities to help The Settlement thrive.
Enjoying the local creative arts along the way is a bonus!
